4.7.3 Mounting with draw bar
The taper mandrel is detached from the spindle using the draw bar.
WARNING!
Only perform the following works if the geared drill is disconnected from the electrical
supply.
Disconnect the geared drill from the electrical
supply.
Disassemble the protection cap for the draw bar.
Release the thread of the draw bar.
By switching the gear to a lower speed it is possible
to avoid that the spindle turns with the gear.
Remove the tool with slide impacts of a rubber
mallet on the draw bar from the taper of the
sleeve. The draw bar must be screwed in by a
few turns otherwise you damage the thread on
the tool and the draw bar.
Refit the protective cap of the draw bar.

Work table
4.8.1
Adjusting the height of the table
Loosen the table by loosening the locking lever.
Rotate the crank to lower or raise the table.
Then lock the table by tightening the locking lever again.
4.9
Cooling
The friction generated during rotation can cause the edge of the tool to become very hot.
The tool should be cooled during the drilling process. Cooling the tool with a suitable cooling
lubricant ensures better working results and a longer edge life of the cutting tool.
CAUTION!
Danger of injury due to brushes getting caught or pulled in. Use a spray gun or a
washing bottle for cooling.
INFORMATION
Use a water-soluble and non-pollutant emulsion as a cooling agent.This can be acquired from
authorised distributors.
Make sure that the cooling agent is being collected.
Respect the environment when disposing of lubricants and coolants.
