It is possible to stop charging the battery when
the charge level is between LEDs 1 and 4.
WARNING
Do not interrupt the charging phase when LED 5
flashes but wait for it to be lit continuously. When
all LEDs are lit continuously the battery is fully
charged.
NOTICE
The battery charging time could increase if
the machine has been used in heavy working
conditions, with a consequent indication of
battery overheating (chap.15).
NOTICE
If the battery is completely discharged, the
indicator LEDs remain off until the minimum
charge threshold is reached.
When charging is complete, the charging system
reduces the flow of current sufficient to maintain
and restore the charge of the battery to its ideal
levels
NOTICE
If the battery charger is connected to the machine
and the 5 LEDs fig 9.B flash at the same time, it
means that charging is not in progress. Check the
connection battery charger/electric mains.
NOTE
The energy consumption to maintain the battery
charged is very low and inexpensive.
NOTE
During battery charging, all machine functions
are disabled, even if the ignition key is inserted
all the way.
WARNING
The battery fitted on the machine has been
designed and manufactured for this type of use,
therefore:- do not disconnect or remove the
batteries from their housings;
- do not replace the batteries with non-original
ones;
- do not perform any work which is not mentioned
in this manual. In the event a problem with the
batteries, please contact your Dealer.
8.3 ANTI-CHIPPING WHEELS
The different heights of the wheels allow you to
maintain a safe distance "H" between the cutting-
means assembly and the ground (fig. 19.A).
Adjust the position of the anti-chipping wheels
according to how irregular the ground is.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This should always be performed on both wheels,
positioning them at the same height, with the
machine off.
To change the position:
1. Unscrew and remove the screw (fig. 19.B).
2. Reposition the wheel (fig. 19.A) with the
spacer ( fig. 19.C) inside the hole at the
desired distance.
3. Tighten firmly the screw (fig. 19.B) in the nut
(fig. 19.D).
8.4 CLEANING
Clean thoroughly following the instructions below
every time it is used.

8.4.1 Cleaning the machine

• Clean the outside of the machine washing
the plastic parts of the bodywork with a damp
sponge using water and detergent, being
careful not to get the electric motors, the
battery and the electrical system components
wet.
• To reduce fire hazards, keep the motor and the
battery compartment free of grass, leaves, or
excessive grease.
• Keep the push-button panel and traction
control manipulator guard free from dirt and
debris.
WARNING
Never use high-pressure water or aggressive
liquids to wash the bodywork and electric motors.
