Turn on the power of the equipment to be used.

Press MENU and MENU V until "4" of the MAIN
MENU flashes on the monitor screen.

Press MENU B.
The ALARM SET menu appears.

Press MENU V to move the flashing to the setting
of TAPE END WARN. and set to COUNT. or
END by pressing MENU + or –.
COUNT.: the time counter shows "8:00:00"
(when using E-240 tape), or "6:00:00" (when
using E-180 tape) and then signal is output from
the TAPE END/SERIES OUT terminal
(recording will be continued to the end of the
tape).
END: the VCR detects the tape end.

Press SEARCH to return to the normal display.
SERIES OUT Terminal
You can make series recording by connecting another
SVT-RA96P.
For the details on connection, see page 10 and on
operation, see page 22.

SW OUT Terminal

The VCR outputs a pulse signal from the SW (switch)
OUT terminal to the camera switcher to control the
switching from camera to camera.
COM terminal
Specify the interval between each pulse signal on the
SW OUT SET menu. Also, set MODE to FIELD or
FRAME depending on the specifications of the camera
switcher.
Available settings are:
• FIELD: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 30, or 60 fields
• FRAME: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 30, or 60 frames
