When the alarm data reaches more than 100
The oldest one will be erased.
To reset the alarm data
Press MENU RESET while the ALARM DATA menu
is on the screen.
The alarm count shows "000".
Recording the Alarm Data on the
Tape

Turn on the power of the equipment to be used.

Press MENU and MENU V until "4" of the MAIN
MENU flashes on the monitor screen.

Press MENU B.
The ALARM SET menu appears.

Press MENU V to move the flashing to the setting
of ALARM DATA REC and set to ON by pressing
MENU + or –.

ON: when the recording comes to the end, the
VCR rewinds the tape to the beginning and
starts recording the alarm data on the ALARM
DATA menu up to 100 data.
OFF: the VCR does not record the alarm data on
the tape.

Press SEARCH to release the alarm data search
mode.
To return to MAIN MENU from the current
menu
Press MENU again.
To go to the next menu from the current menu
Press MENU V while keeping MENU B pressed.
Notes
• When ALARM DATA REC is set to ON, the VCR
automatically rewinds the tape when inserted. While the
VCR is rewinding the tape, "<AL DATA REC>" flashes
on the monitor screen.

A L D A T A R E C
• In ALARM DATA REC ON mode, when you stop
recording and press REW m, the VCR rewinds the tape
to the beginning and records the ALARM DATA entered
onto the beginning of the tape.
• The ALARM DATA will be reset when:
– the tape is ejected while recording in ALARM DATA
REC ON mode.
– all the ALARM DATA are recorded.
– ALARM DATA REC is reset to ON from OFF and
executed.
• In ALARM DATA REC ON mode the VCR records up to
100 alarm data. Although the VCR does not record the
101st or higher alarm data, it will do the alarm operation.
• While recording of the ALARM DATA list is in progress,
the REC indicator lights in the display window.
