Deactivation of synchronization
By pressing the button SYN./TROL. shortly at the active control station in the cruising state ahead, synchronization will
be deactivated. Alternatively, the synchronization can also be deactivated by moving on lever of the active control station
in the neutral position or to astern.
For the one-lever operation mode 2 all levers of the active control station must be moved in a window of 10% to each
other first, before a shortly pressing of the button SYN./TROL. at the active control station will be deactivate the
synchronization. This procedure is necessary to avoid rapidly changes of the speed or gear direction of any propulsion
system. An easily and good practice way is, to move all levers of the active control station to neutral before pressing the
button SYN./TROL.

Trolling

With the special function trolling the remote control can preset the slip of a trolling gear. In this way the driving of the
vessel can be reduced for maneuvers. A precondition for using the special function trolling is the existence of a trolling
gear.
Activation of trolling
The trolling function can only be activated if the control head at the active control station is in neutral and the gear is
disengaged. In case of multiple-engine systems the levers of all propulsion systems at the active control station must be
positioned in neutral and all gears must be disengaged.
On this condition the special function trolling can be activated by shortly pressing the button SYN./TROL. at the active
control station. In case of multiple-engine systems, which have several buttons SYN./TROL. at the active control station,
any of these buttons SYN./TROL. can be pushed to activate the special function trolling.

If the special function trolling is active, this will be indicated at the control stations by the lamp TROLLING
Cruising with trolling
When trolling is active, the lever of the control head controls in addition to the engine speed and gear direction also the
slip of the trolling gear.
In the detent ahead or astern the slip in the trolling gear is maximum, there is hardly any driving of the vessel. In the lever
position full ahead or full astern the slip in the trolling gear is minimum, the driving of the vessel reaches a similar size as
if the trolling gear was not active and idle speed was preset.
As with activated trolling the ship speed is very small, it is not calculated during reversing maneuvers. Therefore there
are no delay times when reversing in trolling mode. The engine speed for clutch engagement of the gear is always
constant in trolling mode.
Deactivation of trolling
The trolling function can only be switched off if the control head at the active control station is in neutral and the gear is
disengaged. In case of multiple-engine systems the levers of all propulsion systems at the active control station must be
in neutral and all gears must be disengaged.
On this condition the special function trolling can be deactivated by shortly pushing the button SYN./TROL. at the active
control station. In case of multiple-engine systems, where several buttons SYN./TROL. exist at the active control station,
any button SYN./TROL. can be pressed to switch off the special function trolling.
If the special function trolling is switched off, the lamp TROLLING will extinguish at all control stations.
