5. Operation
5.1

Starting Up

The display/output devices must be connected through the 5-pin signal output socket, see
Chap. 4.5.2, before connecting the controller to the power supply and switching on the
power supply.

The measurement equipment should warm up for about 30 minutes before a measure-
ment or calibration is carried out.
5.2

Control and Display Elements

The controller is operated through the Ethernet interface only, see Chap. 6..
A LED on the controllers front side provides information about the location of the target to
be measured.
