7. MAINTENANCE

MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE – THERMAL OIL
Thermal oil is used to heat the product through the tank wall (it is recommended to check
the oil level to prevent it from dropping below the minimum level). Add only identical oil.
When refilling with oil from another manufacturer, first always empty the whole tank.
Check oil level at least every 6 months.
We recommend oil changing every 12-18 months.

Check oil level at oil temperature of up to 35 °C. Unscrew the top back shield (28). Unscrew
the oil level indicator (17 mm spanner) from the upper part of the kneading trough. Dry the
measuring part and screw to the bowl again. Then, unscrew once more and check if the
oil level is within the tolerance zone – between the minimum and maximum permissible oil
level. If you see no oil marks on the indicator, it means that the oil level is too low. Add oil
as required (see 5.1). Check oil level at least every 6 months. It is recommended to keep oil
level near the minimum. Exceeding the maximum level may lead to oil spilling through the
vent valve while during bowl unloading.
CHANGING OF OIL
Oil must be changed every 12-18 months, depending on machine loading. For example,
4 hours operation daily is a standard work, whereas 12 hours operation daily is heavy duty
work.
Oil change may only be done by qualified personnel and when the machine is
cold and disconnected from power supply.
