9. POSSIBLE FAILURES
Problem
Machine will not start
Machine stops during
operation
Improper heating
Possible cause
Make sure the machine is plugged to the mains
When the controllers are not activated on first use of the
machine, phases should be reversed in the socket
Make sure the top front shield is properly shut
Make sure the bowl is levelled (hand wheel (31) is tightened until
slight resistance is felt, or if ratchet (7) gets the gap on a wheel)
Make sure the emergency switch is not pressed
Check if power is supplied to the machine
Check the F1 control fuse in the electric box (16)

slight resistance is felt, or if ratchet (7) gets the gap on a wheel)
The machine is overloaded – reduce the portion size of produced
cream and press the thermal switch located under the cover of
the electric box
Check if the heaters emit the usual heating sound
Check if the resistance of each single heater is correct
Check the exact amount of oil in the oil shell of the bowl
Check the F2 fuse for the heaters in the electric cabinet (16)
Remove heaters cover and check if thermal protection switch is
activated (projected pin - see p. 5.7)
