16. INTEGRATED HIGH TOUR BELT

TYPE C: HIP BELTS

16.1 FIELD OF APPLICATION

16.1.1 SAFETY ADVICE

The product complies with the PSA regulation (EU)
2016/425. The EU declaration of conformity is availa-
ble on "www.abs-airbag.com/konformitätserklärung".
The harness is certified according to EN
12277:2018. The following guidelines and inst-
ructions for use must be read carefully and strictly
observed.
This safety product is specially designed for moun-
taineering (incl. mountaineering and climbing) and
does not release the user from the personal risk.
Each person using ABS Protection products of any
kind is personally responsible for learning the correct
use and technique. The user must ensure that he/she
is informed at all times about any necessary rescue
measures and that he/she can carry them out in
accordance with the situation. If the user is not able
to accept this responsibility, or if he/she has not fully
understood the instructions for use, he/she must not
use this equipment or the application must be carried
out under the supervision of a responsible, experien-
ced or otherwise competent person.
16.1.2 HAFTUNG
Activities using this equipment are naturally dange-
rous.
These guidelines and instructions for use explain the
proper and practical use of this product. The warning
notices inform about certain possible dangers con-
cerning the use of the product. However, since not all
misapplications and possible errors can be listed, they
never replace your own knowledge, training, experience
and personal responsibility. The belt may only be
used for the techniques shown and marked as correct.
Failure to observe any of these warnings may result in
serious injury or even death.
