NOTE
Improper handling!
The locking pin may be damaged if the
clearance between the tightening nut and
the tool mount is too large! If the clear-
ance between the external square of the
tightening nut and the inner square of the
tool mount is too large, the locking pin
may be damaged or torn off if it is improp-
erly handled (e.g. prizing/levering the nut
out after tightening)!

Check at regular intervals and after
each socket change that
– the dimensions of the inner square of
the tightening nut conform to the
specifications of
DIN 3129 and ISO 2725-2 and
– the dimensions of the outer square of
the tool mount conform to the
specifications of DIN 3121 and
ISO 1174-2.

The output drive has been provided with a
standardized external square according to
DIN 3120 to receive the attachment tools.
Removing an attachment tool:

Push the safety pin 18 on the outer
square inwards, e.g., using a screwdriver,
and pull the attachment tool 17 off the
tool mount.
Attaching an attachment tool:

Push the safety pin 18 on the outer
square inwards and slide the attachment
tool 17 over the square until the pin 18
clicks into place in the recess of the at-
tachment tool 17.

The output drive has been provided with
quick-change chucks to receive the attach-
ment tools.
Removing an attachment tool:

Pull the sliding collar 19 of the quick-
change chuck to the front and remove the
attachment tool 17 in forward direction.
Attaching an attachment tool:

Pull the sliding collar 19 of the quick-
change chuck to the front, fit the attach-
ment tool 17 and slide it back until you
can hear it click into place.
8.2 Adjusting the direction of
rotation
Changing the program while tight-
ening is in progress will only be-
come active in the next tightening
operation.

Clockwise:

Turn the CW/CCW reversal switch 8 to
the right to tighten bolts with right-hand
thread.
Counterclockwise:

Turn the CW/CCW reversal switch 8 to
the left to loosen or unscrew bolts with
right-hand thread.
