these instructions.
1.1 Scope of the documenta-
tion
This documentation is applicable to the Er-
goSpin and CC-ErgoSpin hand-held nutrun-
ners. Tightening operations requiring docu-
mentation according to VDI/VDE 2862
Category A can be performed using tighten-
ing systems which consist of the ErgoSpin
hand-held nutrunner and the CS351E...
Compact System or Modular System. Tight-
ening operations requiring documentation
according to VDI/VDE 2862 Category B can
be performed using CC tightening systems
which consist of the CC-ErgoSpin hand-held
nutrunner and the CS351E... or
CC-CS351E-D Compact System. The
CS351... Compact System allows connect-
ing the system to field buses.

This documentation is intended for persons
commissioned with the assembly, commis-
sioning, maintenance, troubleshooting and
disassembly of ErgoSpin or CC-ErgoSpin
hand-held nutrunners and their components.
This documentation contains important infor-
mation on safe and appropriate assembly,
transportation, commissioning, maintenance,
disassembly and simple troubleshooting of
ErgoSpin or CC-ErgoSpin hand-held nutrun-
ners.

Read this documentation completely and
pay particular attention to chapter "Safety
instructions", before working with the
product.

ErgoSpin and CC-ErgoSpin hand-held nut-
runners are system components.

Only commission the product if you have
the documentations marked with the
book symbol at your disposal and have
understood and observed them.
