– Check if the cutting line of the the saw blade
is properly indicated by the laser beam (see
"Adjusting the Laser", page 42).
The laser beam can be misadjusted when as-

guard 3.

Adjusting the Laser

The laser unit 41 is supplied preset.
Before putting into operation for the first time,
you should check if the laser beam is still
aligned properly on the preferred saw blade cut-
ting line after mounting the laser unit 41 and the
blade guard 3.
Checking:
– Switch the laser beam on with switch 44.
The laser beam should run parallel to the exten-
sion of the cut on the sticker 15.
Adjusting the Parallelism: (see figure C1)
– Loosen fastening screw 45 (using a suitable
screwdriver).
– Move the housing 46 of the laser until the la-
ser beam runs parallel to the cut over the
complete length.
– Carefully retighten fastening screw 45.
The laser beam must now be set flush to the saw
blade, so that the cutting line of the saw blade
is correctly marked.
Set the laser beam either centred to the saw
blade or exactly left or right of the cutting line,
as individually required.
