Commissioning

NOTE
Overvoltage!
Damage to electronic components!

Do not push the start switch while
plugging the system in.
Fit appropriate strain relief devices
to prevent kinks in the cable.
Proceed as follows when connecting a con-
nection cable for the hand-held nutrunners:

Insert the connecting cable plug on the
servo amplifier side into the interface at
the Rexroth tightening system, establish-
ing a flush connection (see Fig. C).

Tighten the two together manually.

Connect the other end of the connecting
cable flush to:
– an extension cable (see Fig. D)
– the interface at the ErgoSpin/
CC-ErgoSpin (see Figs. E and F).

Adjust the cable outlet on the angle plug,
e. g. in order to adapt it to your use.

Tighten the two together manually.
While doing so, observe the angle
of turn of the angle plug
(see Fig. G).
The angle plug has only been as-
sembled correctly if its set angle
position can no longer be changed
when the union nut has been tight-
ened.
The angle plug is not suitable for
permanent rotary movements.

CAUTION
Avoid using the wrong components!
Damage to persons and property!

Only operate the ErgoSpin/
CC-ErgoSpin together with the com-
ponents designed for this purpose!
CAUTION
Loss of protection class IP 40!
Liquids and foreign bodies may penetrate
and damage the product.

Before commissioning, ensure that all
plug-in connections are correctly in-
stalled and are undamaged.
The tightening system is commissioned by
the operating system BS350.
Information on commissioning can
be found in the software for the
Rexroth tightening system, i.e. the
operating system BS350.
The electronic connection between the nut-
runner and the tightening system is estab-
lished via the ErgoSpin connection cable.
