10.0 - DIGITAL PROTOCOLS menu

This menu consists of a selection of two connection protocols to security services: CONTACT ID and CESA 200 BAUD. Select the protocol and
consult the appropriate manual. The manual is available at internet site www.silentron.com or from Silentron distributors or directly from
Silentron head office in Turin – Export Dpt. +39.011.7732506+143 or +158.
11.0 – PC REMOTE MANAGEMENT menu
If the installer performs a remote management service (remote technical assistance), he/she must programme an appropriate 4-digit code which
is different from the User or Installer Code in order to access the remote management and must insert (↑ ↓) his/her name, dedicated telephone
number, a further telephone number of another service centre if required and personal details of the customer (name, surname, address, city
and telephone number).
12.0 – PROGRAMMING WIRELESS ALARM/SIGNAL DEVICES
a) Monodirectional sirens 5531 - alarm receivers (5051 - 5851) - load command receivers (5540 - 41-42)
To programme these devices it is sufficient to suitably secure them within radio range, appropriately connecting them to the power supply and
close them. At the first disarming transmission of the control panel, these devices are automatically programmed, each one confirmed according
to specific instructions.
b) Bidirectional sirens 5530: The programming of the alarm signals of the sirens takes place as indicated above. It is first necessary to
programme their transmission to the control panel on any alarm zone group which will be labelled "siren". See also specific instructions.
c) KEYPAD HT
The arming/disarming codes are programmed directly on the control panel and can be used with all HT keypads connected to the control panel.
To connect one or more keypads to the control panel and programme the PANIC key, proceed as follows:
connect keypad HT to the power supply: All LED indicators will flash
Within 60 seconds DISARM the control panel using its keys: The keypad LED indicators will turn off, confirming a successful
connection. The
keypads already programmed can be re-programmed as follows:
Set the control panel on the PANIC zone and press the " !" key of the keypad already connected for 10 seconds..

SILENTRON – made in Italy
230V CA 50 Hz - 150mA – lack of mains power signalled after programmable time
Total 1,2A – rated output 13 V CC nominal
Lead, hermetic, rechargeable 12V 2,2Ah standard. The batteries must have a class HB or higher cover.
55mA stand-by and without wired connections - 125mA with display backlighting -500mA in alarm
Approx. 36 hours with charged battery, in stand-by and without wired connections. To determine
autonomy in presence of wire connections, measure the battery electrical output (without 230V) and
calculate correctly.
To increase autonomy it is possible to connect an external battery to terminals +AL and GND.
Up to 99 programmable detectors with immediate, delayed or AND operation on the 3 alarm zone
groups (A-B-C)
or on the 24-hour zone groups Panic, Robbery, Technical alarm.
6 lines NC (normally closed), freely programmable on the 3 armed zone groups A B C
Receipt of tamper signal by each individual detector
Receipt of operating status and low battery signals (SUPERVISION)
3 tamper lines NC (zones A B C) and protection against opening/removal of control panel
72-bit codified digital transmissions for low-intensity operation of alarm devices
72-bit codified digital transmissions for operating all types of alarm devices

1 for connecting the additional electronic/electromechanical external key
Continuous, simultaneous or programmable control of the two working frequencies
Last 200 events (new ones substitute the old ones)
Programmable delayed arming – input delay programmable on every detector
3 minute general alarm time
Programmable 24-hour clock for load operations
Display 2 x 16 characters, with possibility of naming each single peripheral device (label)
20-button alphanumeric keypad
106 db alarm siren + buzzer for low intensity warning
Recordable vocal messages for principal communications with user
