i) Setting the Language for the Day of the Week

The DCF clock not only shows the exact radio time and date (when radio reception is activated and working), but also
the day of the week. The abbreviations for weekdays are, however, depending on the country (for example, "So" for
"Sonntag" in Germany and "Su" for "Sunday" in England).
You can therefore set the language. For this purpose, proceed as follows:
• If a time zone is shown ("ZONE" next to the time), change to the normal time display (e.g. 12:15:05) by briefly
pressing the "MODE" button several times.
• Keep the "MODE" (20) button pressed (about two seconds) until the language abbreviation is displayed instead
of the running seconds to the right next to the time.
Depress the button.
• Select the desired language for weekdays with the buttons "" (17) and "" (19).
DE = German
FR = French
IT = Italian
SP = Spanish
EN = English
• Now press the "MODE" button (20) (only press button briefly each time) repeatedly until the normal time display
reappears (and no setting option flashes anymore).
j) Setting the Display Unit for Temperature (°C/°F)
• If a time zone is shown ("ZONE" next to the time), change to the normal time display (e.g. 12:15:05) by briefly
pressing the "MODE" button several times.
• Keep the "MODE" (20) button pressed (about two seconds) until the language abbreviation is displayed instead
of the running seconds to the left of the time. Depress the button.
• By pressing the "MODE" button (20) again briefly, the temperature display starts to flash now.
• You can choose the desired temperature unit with the "" (17) and "" (19) buttons (°C or °F).
• Now press the "MODE" button (20) (only press button briefly each time) repeatedly until the normal time display
reappears (and no setting option flashes anymore).
k) Switching the 12/24h Display
The time display can be switched between the 24 h format and the 12 h format with the AM/PM display (AM = first
half of the day, PM = second half of the day).
• If a time zone is shown ("ZONE" next to the time), change to the normal time display (e.g. 12:15:05) by briefly
pressing the "MODE" button several times.
• Keep the "MODE" (20) button pressed (about two seconds) until the language abbreviation is displayed instead
of the running seconds to the left of the time. Release the button.
• Press the "MODE" button (20) repeatedly until "24Hr" (or "12Hr") flashes in the display.
• Select the desired display format with the buttons "" (17) and "" (19).
• Now press the "MODE" button (20) (only press button briefly each time) repeatedly until the normal time display
reappears (and no setting option flashes anymore).
