15. Replacing the Batteries

a) Weather Station
The batteries require changing when the display contrast is very weak or the "

To save all settings or measured values, we recommend operating the weather station with the
enclosed mains adapter unit during the battery change.
Otherwise, proceed as described for first commissioning (see chapter 9. a).

b) Second Receiver Unit

The batteries require changing when the display contrast is very weak or the "
left of the display
After the battery change, the alarm times and MIN/MAX values are deleted. The receiver unit must be re-
commissioned as described in chapter 9.e).

Usually, it is enough to take the receiver unit back to its previous location and to wait for a few minutes.
The receiver unit will automatically search for available outdoor sensors and the DCF signal.

c) Sensors

For each sensor (temperature/humidity, rain sensor, wind sensor) the "
display area when the sensor batteries are depleted.
Exchange the batteries of the sensor for new ones. Proceed as described for exchanging/inserting the batteries for
first commissioning.

If the weather station can no longer find the sensor (e.g. there are still only dashes in the display even
an hour after the battery change, e.g. "- - - -" for the wind sensor), perform a manual sensor search.
Keep the "–" (6) button of the weather station pressed until the icon for radio reception flashes in the
upper area of the display. The sensor search can take several minutes.
When changing the wind sensor batteries, ensure that the vane tip is pointing north after the new
batteries are inserted. Then press the button (39) that can be seen in the wind sensor battery
compartment. Otherwise, the weather station will display the wrong wind directions!!
