f) "Sunrise/Sunset" Function (Icon "

Select the "sunrise/sunset" function with the "–" (6) and "+" (7) buttons in the weather station basic
display. The respective icon (see above) flashes.
The following settings and displays are available:
 Switch Display Data
Repeatedly press the "SET" button (2) briefly to switch between the following displays:
• Date, city code and sunrise/sunset times
• Time, city code and sunrise/sunset times
• Date, city code and respective latitude/longitude
The display for the sunrise time shows different information according to the time of the day:
Midnight to noon:
Noon to midnight:
Please observe that in places with high latitude, there may not be any sunrise or sunset time, because
the sun may shine the whole day (display: "FULL") or not shine the whole day (display: "- - - -").
 Enter Position Data
• Keep the "SET" button (2) pressed until "CITY" is displayed in the time field and a three-city city code starts flashing
above it.
• With the buttons "–" (6) and "+" (7), you can select a city near the place for which a sunrise or sunset time is to be
calculated.
The appendix in chapter 21 includes a list of cities and city codes.
For a quick adjustment, hold the corresponding button for a longer period of time.
• Confirm the setting by briefly pressing the "SET" (2) button. The display shows the sunrise and sunset times.
Entering data for the city code "USR":
When "USR" was selected as a city code, enter the geographic position as latitude and longitude (you
may enter degrees and minutes).
After confirmation with "SET" (2) (see above), dashes are displayed instead of the sunrise and sunset
times.
Enter the data as follows:
• Two dashes flash "- -" for the latitude. Enter the degrees with the "–" (6) or. "+" (7) buttons (keep them pressed for
quick adjustment) and confirm by pressing "SET" (2).
• Then two dashes flash "- -" for the minutes. Enter the minutes with the "–" (6) or. "+" (7) buttons (keep them pressed
for quick adjustment) and confirm again by pressing "SET" (2).
• Now "N" or "–" flashes. Now use the "–" (6) or "+" (7) buttons to select if these are northern ("N") or southern ("–
") latitudes. Confirm the selections by pressing the "SET" button (2).
• Now two dashes flash "- -" for the longitude. Enter the degrees with the "–" (6) or. "+" (7) buttons (keep them pressed
for quick adjustment) and confirm by pressing "SET" (2).
• Then two dashes flash "- -" for the minutes. Enter the minutes with the "–" (6) or. "+" (7) buttons (keep them pressed
for quick adjustment) and confirm again by pressing "SET" (2).
