Installing the Boa reels

Complete the following steps to install the Boa reel:
1) Thread one end of the proximal Boa cable through the bore marked in red (see fig. 16).
2) Fold over the cable end and thread it back through a parallel bore (see fig. 17).
3) Fold the cable end over again and insert it to the stop into a blind hole next to the bore
marked in red (see fig. 18).
INFORMATION: The Boa cable is secured against slipping out by means of self-lock­
ing due to the two sharp turns.
4) Tighten the two resulting cable loops (see fig. 19, see fig. 20).
5) Perform the described steps for the second cable end on the opposite bore marked in red.
6) Carefully pull on the Boa cable on both sides of the Boa housing.
7) Lightly push the reel into the Boa housing with your finger (see fig. 21).
INFORMATION: The spur gearing on the reel still has to be visible after insertion,
which means it has to face out.
8) Repeat steps 1-7 for the second reel.
