Maintenance work and regularity

in the air filter
Change the engine oil

Remove all grass and
chaff from the area of
the air filter, the radiator
grill and the side
covering.

Lubricate the bolt (1) on
the front axle on both
sides (see fold-out
page)
Lubricate the steering
stub axle (2) on both
sides (see fold-out
page)
Lubricate the pivot
points of the foot and
lever controls (3) (see
fold-out page)
Lubricate the shafts (6)
of the mower unit (see
fold-out page)
Lubricate belt-
tensioning lever (7) of
the cutting mechanism
(see fold-out page)
Execution
Check more frequently in the event of
excessive dirt. Clean the paper insert
of the air filter and replace when
necessary (see handbook for engine).
Check more frequently in the event of
excessive dirt. Change the engine oil
and the oil filter as required (see
handbook for the engine or consult a
specialist workshop).

Danger
Battery acid and battery acid fumes
can injure your skin and eyes. Take
due care when adding distilled water
and always wear goggles and
protective gloves.
Add distilled water to the
battery as required.
Remove the side covering and
remove grass and chaff (see
"Cleaning").
Clean or replace as required (see
handbook for engine).
Use 251 EP grease or similar multi-
purpose lithium grease, no. 2.

Use only high-quality lubrication oil to
do this. Apply the oil liberally to the
pivot points.
