1. Take off front cover of internal cover's
housing. To do this, press on locking lever
on underside of housing and take off cov-
er.
2. Loosen screw for board cover, take off
board cover.
NOTICE
No function if the humidity sensor is in-
stalled incorrectly. Do not bend pins. Insert
sensor up to stop in bush.
3. Plug in PP 45 HYI humidity sensor
 Arrow.
4. Fit board cover.
5. Attach front cover of internal housing at
top in two housing studs and swivel down
until front cover engages on locking lever.
6. Start up ventilation system and register
humidity sensor  Chapters 14 and 15.

9.9 External sensors

A wired, external sensor is connected to the
RS 485 interface of the RLS 45 O / K control.
Up to 3 wired, external sensors can be con-
nected to each RLS 45 O / K control.
Demand-driven operation (sensor-controlled
automatic operation) only applies to ventila-
tion units, which are connected to the same
room air control as the sensors.

Connecting sensors
1. Switch off mains fuse, secure against
being accidentally switched back on and
position a visible warning sign.
2. Install and wire external sensor  Wiring
diagrams in appendix.
3. With external sensors, addressing is
undertaken using the rotary switch on the
sensor's housing: Position 0 = sensor 1,
position 1 = sensor 2, position 2 = sensor 3
The sensors (external and internal) are
only taught in on the master.
4. Take room air control out of recessed-
mounted box and wire sensor connecting
cable to plug-in connection terminal of
RS 485 interface  Wiring diagrams in
appendix.
