● The ventilation unit has IP 00 degree of
protection. Do not install ventilation unit
outdoors. Protect ventilation unit from mois-
ture and wetness.
8.2 Mounting instructions for final
assembly kit
WARNING
!
Danger of electric shock.
Before mounting work, disconnect the venti-
lation unit at all poles from the power supply
(switch off mains fuse), secure against being
accidentally switched back on and fit a visible
warning sign. During operation, the board
cover (PP 45 K and PP 45 RC) and front
cover of the internal housing must be mounted.
● For WRG operation (air extraction and
ventilation in a 60-second cycle), set up unit
pairs.
● The room air control has plug-in connection
terminals, which can be taken off for wiring.
● If using several unit pairs, interconnect
associated PP 45 groups (Fan1 or Fan2)
either directly in an electronics switch box
to be supplied by the customer or install
in a distribution box. The wiring should be
undertaken following the wiring diagram in
the appendix.
● Units in a group switch together in air ex-
traction or ventilation mode.
● Only mount internal covers on flat surfaces
and without any distortion to avoid noise.
● Before putting on the front cover of the
internal housing, the shutter must always be
open. To do this, switch on PP 45 K or RC
unit. For PP 45 O, set the rotary knob at the
side to "Open".

Type NYM-J 5G1, 5 mm²
Control cables: Type J-YSTY, 0.8 mm,

4 wires. Max. 25 m from star point, up to

● Connector plug for fan cable
Connect enclosed connector plugs after
line feedthrough in accordance with wiring
diagram. Connect plugs (line feedthrough
+ slide in module) with one another and fix
in the enclosed plate.
● Connector plug for fan cable
PP 45 RC
: The connector plug fan cable is
plugged in on the board.
● Ventilation units may only be operated using
the voltage and frequency shown on the
rating plate. For rating plate, see RLS 45 O
or RLS 45 K control or PP 45 RC ventilation
unit. Operating voltage for PP 45 O/K units
= 12 V DC.
● The appropriate mounting material must be
supplied on site.
● Sensors: Incorrect measured values can
result from unsuitable installation location.
Avoid disturbing influences and direct
sunlight.
● Select installation locations and models for
the ventilation units to keep noise emissions
down. If possible avoid
● sound bridges with the structure by ob-
serving sufficient distance from other facade
elements.
● disbalances, which arise from different
lengths of control cable. Observe installa-
tion requirements relating to cable lengths
and types.
