IBM 3740 FORMAT - 128 BYTES/SECTOR
Stiown below is the IBM single-density formal with 128
bytes/sector. In Order to format a diskette, the user must
Issu9 the Wrlte Track command, and load the data regisier
with 1ha followlng values. For every byle to be written, there
is one Data Request.
IBM SYSTEM 34 FORMAT- 2S6 BYTES/SECTOR
Shown below is the IBM dual-denslty format with 256
bytes/sector. In order to format a dlsketta the user must
issue the Wrlte Track command and load the data reglster
with the followlng valuas. Foreveiy byte to be written, there
is one data request.
