Warranty and warning

The terms of the warranty assume that the following minimum conditions are observed:
•
The refrigerating system condenser must be kept clean. E.g. vacuum cleaning at least twice a
year is recommended.
•
There must be good air circulation around the refrigerating system.
•
The refrigerating system may only be repaired by an authorised refrigeration company.
•
The cabinet must not be cleaned with agents containing chlorine.
•
Electrical parts may only be inspected/replaced by authorised personnel.
This blast chiller/freezer has been especially designed to chill/freeze items of food. The cabinet must
not be used to store items that give off explosive fumes which might create the risk of an explosion.
At points where a warning triangle and/or cover fixing screws are used (e.g. on electrical parts, heating
elements, and moving parts such as fans) no cover must be removed unless the power is switched off.
Inspection and repair must only be performed by authorised personnel.
The switch on the control panel does not turn off current to all components in the cabinet and when
removing covers to gain access to electrical parts it is dangerous to switch off at the cabinet only.
Therefore, either remove the lead from the wall socket, or switch it off at the wall socket.

Installation

The cabinet must be located in a dry and adequately ventilated room. To ensure reliable operation,
avoid a location in direct sunlight or near a source of heat. The cabinet is designed to operate in
ambient temperatures of up to +30°C. For versions with legs, use the screws on the legs to make sure
that the cabinet stands level and upright. Be aware of the minimum distances to wall and ceiling as
shown below.
Before starting, clean the cabinet with a mild detergent. Defrost water might have collected in
the cabinet during final testing at the factory.
