2.2. Menu Node Config.

Specially for the non programmable bus modules with CANopen capabilities from ifm electronic some
device parameters must be set before using the modules. The parameters are the node number (node
ID) and the baud rate. The valid default setting is specified in the data sheets of the devices.
Also, the module configuration can be changed. A module connection can for example be configured
as a digital output or an analog input. The possible settings are stated in the data sheets of the
devices.
To avoid conflicts with the node configuration only one module should be connected to the
CAN analyser. Since with some settings the CAN analyser performs master services no other
network master (e.g. ecomat R 360) must be active.

Menu Set Node ID

After selection of the menu point first enter the number of the node (3 digits, decimal) for which the
new setting is to be valid.
Node-ID: ddd
After pressing ENTER the new node number (3 digits, decimal) can be entered in the next line.
