1.3. Menu structure
General notes on handling
• The sub-menu is selected with the function keys F1 to F4 (without Shift key).
• With the ESC key the user returns to the higher-level menu. This key is also used to abort all input
fields.
• The decimal format is used for the input and output of all node IDs. For the input and output of all
other data the hexadecimal format is used.
• The DEL key deletes the last entered character in input fields for numerical values.
• All input fields are confirmed by pressing ENTER.
• The display illumination can be activated or deactivated by pressing the START button. This
function is only available when voltage is supplied via the CAN connection (D-SUB socket,
pin no. 9).
• The contrast of the display can be set by pressing the
