Charging
WARNING!
The gases produced during charging
can cause explosions
Always check the fans each time you
charge.
Requirements
– Truck parked securely, (see "Parking the
truck securely" on page 73).
Procedure
• Connect the charger lead of the battery charger station to the charger socket (55).

Test the fan. If the fan is not working, open the cover to ventilate the battery
compartment.
• Depending on the battery you may need to attach the water connection (56) to the
battery charger station.
• Switch on the battery charging station and charge the battery in accordance with
the battery and charging station manufacturers' instructions.

After charging, test the fans and remove the connector. If the fan is not working,
open the cover to ventilate the battery compartment.

Use only chargers with a max. 160 A charging current.
Battery is charged.
