4.1.1 Standard equipment
Brakes

Test brakes.

Check the brake oil level (mineral oil)
Electrical System
Test warning and safety devices in accordance with operating

instructions.

Test Emergency Disconnect switch.
Power Supply
1
Check battery and battery components.
Check battery cable connections are secure, grease terminals if

necessary.
Check battery connector for damage, test it and make sure it is
3
secure.

Check acid level and add demineralised water if necessary.
Travel
Check the wheels for wear and damage. Make sure they are tight
1
and check the compressed air if necessary.
Chassis and superstructure
1
Check doors and/or covers.
Check overhead guard and / or cab are secure and check for
2
damage.

Test driver's seat restraint system and check for damage.
4
Check labels are legible and complete.
5
Test the battery cover gas pressure springs and check for damage
Hydraulic operations
1
Check forks or load handler for wear and damage.
