5.9.2 Favorite Talkgroups
You can add any talkgroup programmed in the radio to Favorites. The radio adjusts the mode it is in according to
the currently selected favorite talkgroup. For example, if the radio is in DMO and you select a TMO talkgroup, the
radio switches to TMO, and vice versa.
Scrolling through favorite talkgroups during an ongoing group call does not terminate the call. Also deleting a
currently selected talkgroup from Favorites during an ongoing call does not lead to the call termination.
If before powering off the last selected talkgroup was a talkgroup from Favorites, the radio:
• On powering up in DMO attaches to the last selected favorite DMO talkgroup.
• On powering up in TMO attaches to the last selected favorite TMO talkgroup.
To make a call on a favorite talkgroup, use the standard procedures for group calls described in this document.
5.9.3 Favorite Contact Numbers
You can add any contact number from Contacts to Favorites. In case of contacts containing more than one contact
number, you need to use the right or left NAVIGATION key to specify which particular contact number to add. There
are no limitations regarding adding single contact numbers assigned to one contact – you can add all contact numbers
as separate entries. Removing a single contact number from Contacts automatically removes it from Favorites.
Similarly, removing a contact from Contacts automatically removes all the related contact numbers from Favorites.
It is impossible to make a call to a favorite contact number during emergency operations.
