Procedure Steps
From the home screen, press the MENU key.

2 Select Group Setup → Scan → Scan Lists.
Highlight required scan list and press MENU to see additional settings:

• Rename — Enters new name for that scan list.
• Capacity — Displays the number of assigned and unassigned talkgroups for the scan list.
• Clear — Deletes all the talkgroup assigned to that scan list.
• Add Group — Adds a talkgroup to the scan list. Select one talkgroup from your talkgroup folders and
assign appropriate priority.
• Edit — Changes the priority of the required talkgroup or deletes it.
To delete a talkgroup from the scan list, select Edit and press MENU.

5.8.2 My Groups

In MR10.6.9 release My Groups is equivalent to Favorites (next section). Both menu items contain shortcuts to
favorite talkgroups and contact numbers, as well as allow to perform the same operations. Thus, for a detailed
description of the feature, please refer to Favorites.

5.9 Favorites

Favorites contains shortcuts to frequently used talkgroups and contact numbers that are organized in favorite folders.
To quickly access favorite folders, from the home screen press the up NAVIGATION key. To scroll through items
inside favorite folders, you can either use the NAVIGATION keys or the ROTARY KNOB.

5.9.1 Favorite Folders

Favorite talkgroups and contact numbers are stored in favorite folders. The folders are common for all types of
talkgroups and contact numbers, which means that in one folder you can have items available in different modes.
Additionally, to indicate the type of each item, the radio displays a small icon next to it.
By default the radio has one favorite folder that can store up to 128 favorite items. However, you can create two
additional folders inside Favorites and give them meaningful names reflecting their content.
If Favorites contains only one favorite folder and it is empty, the only operations you can perform are adding an
item to the folder, renaming the folder, and creating a new folder.
