b) Before operation

• Unroll the antenna wire of the receiver of the model to its complete length. Any parts protruding from the model must not be bent toward the front, attached to
the model or cut off. The best reception results are attained if the wire hangs loose from the model and is dragged during the flight.
• Make sure that no other models are operated within the range of the remote control on the same remote control channel (transmitter frequency). Otherwise,
you will lose control over the remote-controlled model! Always use different channels if you wish to simultaneously operate two or several models in the
immediate proximity of each other.
• Regularly check the functional safety of your model and of the remote control system. Take care to check for obvious damage such as broken plug connections
or damaged cables. All movable parts on the model have to be smooth running; however, there must be no tolerance in the bearings.
• Charge the flight battery, which is necessary for operation, as well as the rechargeable battery powering the remote control according the instructions indicated
by the manufacturer.
• If batteries are used to power the transmitter, make sure that there is sufficient remaining capacity (battery tester). If the batteries are empty, always replace the
complete set, never individual cells only.
• Before each operation, check the settings of the trim slider at the transmitter for different steering directions and, if necessary, set them.
• To operate your model, always pull out the telescopic antenna to its full length as otherwise the transmitter will have considerably lower range and the
transmitter output will be excessively strained.
• Always switch the transmitter on first. Then the flight battery of the model may be connected. Otherwise unexpected reactions of the electric model airplane
may occur and the propeller can start to turn unintentionally!
• Make sure that no objects or body parts are in the rotating and suction area of the propeller while it is rotating.

c) During operation

• Do not take any risks when operating the product! Your own safety and that of your environment is solely dependent on you being responsible when dealing
with the model.
• Improper operation can cause serious damage to people and property! Therefore, during operation, ensure a sufficient safety distance to persons, animals
and objects.
• Select an appropriate site for the operation of your model airplane.
• Fly your model only if your ability to respond is unrestricted. The influence of tiredness, alcohol or medicine can cause incorrect responses.
• Do not direct your model towards spectators or towards you.
• Never point the telescope antenna of the transmitter directly at the model. This significantly reduces the transmitter signal transmission to the model.
• The motor, flight control system and the rechargeable flight battery can heat up during operation of the model. Therefore, take a break of 5-10 minutes before
re-charging the flight battery or before re-starting with a spare flight battery which you may have. The motor must cool down to ambient temperature.
• Always leave the remote control (transmitter) turned on, as long as the model is in operation. After landing, always disconnect the rechargeable flight battery
first or switch the model off. It is only after this that the remote control may be turned off.
• In case of a fault or a malfunction, correct the fault first then re-start the model.
• Don't expose your model and the remote control to direct sunlight or excessive heat for a longer period of time.

9. Mise en service du modèle
a) Mise en place et branchement de l'accu de vol
Une fois la verrière de cabine retirée, l'accu de vol est glissé à l'avant du fuselage
et sécurisé à l'aide de bande autoagrippante.
C'est le centre de gravité qui détermine la position exacte de l'accu.
Conseil pratique :
Une fois le centre de gravité optimal trouvé, marquez l'accu (1) ainsi qu'un
endroit du fuselage (2) à l'aide d'un stylo feutre résistant à l'eau. Il ne sera ainsi
pas nécessaire de rechercher le centre de gravité lorsque l'accu est remplacé.
b) Réglage du centre de gravité
L'accu de vol doit être mis en place dans le compartiment de l'accu de sorte à
ce que le centre de gravité se trouve exactement au milieu des trous ronds
dans le creux de la poignée (1). Mesurez toujours le centre de gravité lorsque
la verrière de cabine est en place.
Attention ! Pour les premiers essais de vol, nous vous recommandons de choisir
le centre de gravité comme décrit ci-dessus. Après les premiers essais de vol,
vous pouvez tâtonner pour trouver le centre de gravité optimal et placer le
centre de gravité jusqu'à 15 mm vers l'avant (en direction de la pointe du
fuselage).
c) Réglage des braquages des gouvernes
Lorsque le modèle est monté correctement et l´émetteur bien réglé, les gouvernes (mesurées sur le bord arrière) devaient présenter les valeurs de braquage
suivantes :
Gouverne latérale
15 mm vers le haut
15 mm vers le bas
Gouverne
15 mm vers le haut
15 mm vers le bas
Attention !
Les valeurs indiquées pour les braquages des gouvernes ne sont que des recommandations. Ajustez les braquages individuellement selon vos
habitudes de commande personnelles. Veillez spécialement, lorsque la gouverne de profondeur est complètement braquée et que vous manoeuvrez
simultanément la gouverne latérale, à ce que les servos ou les articulations n'entrent pas en collision.
