c) Outdoor sensor
The outdoor sensor is suitable for the use in a sheltered outdoor area (for example under a roof
projection).
Operate/install the outdoor sensor only in vertical position, so that the battery compartment
points downwards.

18. Disposal

a) General information


Electric and electronic devices must not be disposed of in the domestic waste.
Please dispose of the inoperative product in accordance with the current legal
regulations.
b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
You as end user are under legal obligation (Battery Regulation) to take back all used batteries
and rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the domestic waste is not permitted.
Batteries/storage batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the

following symbols, which point out that disposal in the domestic waste is
prohibited.
The designations for the relevant heavy metals are the following: Cd=cadmium,
Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (name on battery/rechargeable battery, e.g. under the

trash icons on the left).
You can return used batteries/accumulators free of charge to any collecting
point in your local authority, in our stores or in any other store where batteries/
accumulators are sold.
Thus, you comply with legal obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
