     Switching the DCF reception On / Off
If not already done, activate the setting mode by pressing "SET" button, as described in the beginning
of chapter 10.b). The set value for the display contrast flashes. Release the "SET" button.
Briefly press twice the "SET" button.
"RCC" flashes in the display field next to the moon phase; the DCF reception icon flashes at the top
of the display and the text "ON" (basic setting) or "OFF".
Select by pressing the "OUT/+" button, if the DCF reception is switched on ("ON") or switched off ("OFF").
When the DCF reception is switched off ("OFF"), the clock functions in the weather station like a conventional quartz
clock. An automatic setting does not occur any more. This can be necessary for example in case of bad reception
of the DCF radio signal (if the weather station is placed in a cellar for example). The DCF icon at the top of the display
is not displayed any more.
If the DCF reception in switched on ("ON"), the weather station functions as a radio clock (time, date, summer/winter
time are set automatically). To this effect, see chapter 9. c).
You can set the 12/24h display format by briefly pressing the "SET" button. If no button is actuated for approximately
15 seconds, the setting mode is quitted; the last setting for the time reception is saved.
     Selecting the 12/24h display format
If not already done, activate the setting mode by pressing the "SET" button, as described in the
beginning of chapter 10.b). The set value for the display contrast flashes. Release the "SET" button.
Briefly press 3x the "SET" button.
In the display field next to the moon phase "24h" (basic setting) or "12h" flashes.
Select the time display format by pressing the "OUT/+" button.
In the 12h display format, "AM" flashes during the first half of the day next to the time and "PM" flashes during the
second half of the day.
You can set the time by briefly pressing the "SET" button. If no button is actuated for approximately 15 seconds, the
setting mode is quitted; the last setting for the 12/24h display format is saved.
