Intended use

- Measuring and displaying electric parameters in the range of excess voltage catego-
ry III up to max. 600V against ground potential, pursuant to EN 61010-1 or lower.
- AC and DC voltage measuring up to max. 600 V (with model VC-5060) or max. 500
V (with model VC-2020)
- Measurement of direct and alternating voltage up to 10 A
- Capacity measuring up to 20 µF (only VC-5060)
- Measuring of frequencies up to 20 kHz (only VC-5060)
- Measuring resistance values of up to 20 MOhm.
- Continuity tests (< 30 Ohm acoustic, only VC-5060)
- Diode test
- Temperature measuring from -50°C to +250°C (only VC-5060)
May only be operated with batteries.
The measuring instrument must not be operated when it is open, i.e. with an open
battery compartment or when the battery compartment cover is missing. Measuring
in damp rooms or under adverse ambient conditions are not admissible.
Unfavourable ambient conditions include:
- excessive dampness or humidity
- Dust or combustible gases, vapours or solvents
- electrical storms or stormy conditions resulting in strong electrostatic fields, etc.
Any use other than that described above will damage the product and may involve other
risks, such as short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. Do not change or modify any part of
the product!
