Safety instructions

Please read through the operating instructions completely before
using the product for the first time; they include important infor-
mation necessary for correct operation.
The guarantee will be rendered null and void if damage is incurred
as a result of failure to observe the operating instructions! We will
not assume any responsibility for consequential damage!
We will also not assume any responsibility for damage to assets
or persons caused by improper handling or failure to observe the
safety instructions. The warranty will be rendered null and void in
such cases.
This device left the factory in perfect condition in terms of safety engineering.
To maintain this condition and ensure safe operation, you, as the user, must comply
with the safety instructions and warnings contained in these instructions. The follow-
ing symbols must be observed:
A triangle containing an exclamation mark indicates important infor-
mation in these operating instructions which is to be observed without
fail.
The triangle containing a lightning symbol warns of danger of an elec-
tric shock or of the impairment of the electrical safety of the device.
The "hand" symbol indicates special information and advice on opera-
tion of the device.
This product has been CE-tested and meets the necessary European
guidelines.
Insulation class 2 (double or reinforced insulation)
CAT II Excess voltage category II for measuring on household devices con-
nected to the mains network with a mains plug.
CAT III Overvoltage category III for measurements of the building installation.

Elimination des piles et accus usagés !
Le consommateur final est légalement tenu (ordonnance relative à l'élimination
des piles usagées) de rapporter toutes les piles et tous les accus usagés ; il est
interdit de les jeter dans les ordures ménagères !
Les piles et accus qui contiennent des substances toxiques sont
caractérisés par les symboles ci-contre, qui indiquent l'interdiction de
les jeter dans les ordures ménagères. Les désignations pour le métal
lourd prépondérant sont : Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercure, Pb = plomb.
Vous pouvez rapporter gratuitement vos piles et accus usagés aux
centres de récupération de votre commune, à nos succursales ou à
tous les points de vente de piles et d'accus.
Vous respectez ainsi les obligations légales et contribuez à la protection de
l'environnement !
Elimination
Les anciens appareils électroniques sont des biens recyclables qui ne
doivent pas être jetés dans une poubelle à ordures ménagères ! Si
l'appareil arrive au terme de sa durée de vie, il conviendra de l'éliminer
conformément aux prescriptions légales en vigueur auprès des cent-
res de récupération de votre commune. Il est interdit de le jeter dans
les ordures ménagères !
