For connecting the various sensor switches
S2 or S3 gravity switches must be set to the output signal of the connected sensor:
– for sensor current output 0/4 - 20 mA gravity switch closed
– for sensor voltage output 0/2 - 10 V gravity switch open.
Terminals for connecting sensor switches:
– for DEA [booster systems] pressure transmitter DG (PT)
– for heating/air-conditioning differential pressure transmitter DDG (DPT)
Terminals for remote adjustment of setpoint or bulk current sensor for p-q
Input terminals for floating "External On/Off" break contact,
has priority over other functions, see also para. 4.1.4
Terminals for floating break contact for protection against lack of water or frost protection in heating/air-con only.
Output terminals for potential-free two-way switches SSM and SBM
Contact rating AC 250 V / 2A
Stand-alone operation and fault signals for pumps 1-2 and frequency convertor, potential-free contacts,
process signal make contact, fault signal break contact
potential-free break contact for lack of water WM (LW) signal or frost protection
Contact ratings: AC 250 V / 2 A
Analog output, depending on setting in menu 2.14 shows actual value of FC or signal at "sensor 1" analog
output. The output in menu 2.15 can be set to the following output forms: "0-10V / 0-20 mA" or
"2-10V / 4-20 mA". Set gravity switch S1 on the messageboard (figure 5 a, pos. 1) to "U" or "I".
Fault displays also via LCD display, menu 7
Log on message board in menu 2.13 (>xxxx<)
Stand-alone operation and fault signals for pumps 3-6
potential-free contacts as for CR-MP 1-2
For the use of an external controller, which controls the setpoint/actual value comparison. This allows the
user to switch from the internally controlled setpoint Wi1 to the 2nd setpoint Wi2, which then determines the
output frequency of the FC. The "Off" function can also be selected via Wi2 (Occasional stoppage of heating).
CR system only possesses actuator function for the FC in the actuator mode.
Motor protection and status signals are retained.
Functions of inputs:
SL-ON / SL-OFF: Changeover of peak-load functions from "internal" to "external" through menu 3.29
"external". Operating delays are set firmly at 1 s.
PT: Initiate pump swap. Menu 3.30
SW 1/2: Activate setpoint Wi2, menu 3.31
EXT. QUIT: external acknowledgement of the collective fault signal (SSM), released if DDC board is logged
on. Individual fault signals must be acknowledged in menu 7.01.
ANALOG IN 2: Analog signal as setpoint for the VLT, enabling in menu 3.01 by control "n = f (analog IN 2)".
The input in menu 2.20 can be set to the following input forms: "0-10V / 0-20mA" or "2-10V / 4-20mA". Set
gravity switch S1 on the DDC-board (figure 5 c, pos. 1) to "U" or "I".
The 3 stand-by inputs are not occupied.
If the DDC board is logged on, all DCC software switches return to "internal", including the control mode.
For switching the drives to automatic or manual operation from a building services control room (for repair purposes),
2 pumps driven per control board
Pumps are assigned by adjusting the gravity switch S3 (1/2 3/4 5/6)
No emergency stop function and no repair switch function in acc. with VDE.
"external".
"external".
