Programmable features

The microcontroller provides flexibility of the control system. The following features can be activated if required:
-
Programmable maximum height limit
-
Automatic track lighting switching
-
Automatic footguard
-
Single phase mode
Programming in general:
-
Programming is done by means of the push buttons on the front of the control box (see fig. 2.1).
-
Open the door of the control box and observe the 2x 7-segment fault display.
-
Hold the Aoverrule" button while turning the main switch to I on the side of the control box.
-
Wait for the audio signal, before releasing the "overrule" button.
-
Select the required code (see below)with the lift or lower button.
-
Activate the code with the track light button and a point will be displayed next to the code or make the inactiv by
operating the track light button once more (point disappears again).
-
To exit the program mode push the "overrule" button. The system is now operational and activated codes are kept
stored even during power failures.
-
The codes can be changed if required, several codes at the same time.
Code 60: Programmable maximum height limit
Raise the lift to the required level before making this code active. If the level should be higher than the actual setting,
then the setting must be made inactive (point next to code 60 must be off) first. Raise the lift to the required level and
now the setting can be made active (point next to 60 must be on) again. Check maximum height limit.
Code 61: Automatic track lighting on/off switch
This feature will automatically switch on the track lighting above 500 mm and switch it off below this limit. This setting
is obligatory in the USA/CANADA. UL demands that below 500 mm in workshops only explosion proof components
are used. ALI/UL/ETL/CSA has accepted this solution and this setting must be made active. In Europe and the rest of
the world, no such obligation exists and operators are free to use this option. The function of the track light button
remains the same if the code is activated. Above 500 mm the lights can still be switched on and off.
Code 62: Automatic footguard
With this code activated, the lift will automatically stop at 300 mm when lowering the lift. Further lowering is only
possible when the unlock and lowering button are released and pushed again. Lowering is accompanied with an acoustic
alarm. It is obligatory to make this code active, because the tracks of this type of lift are not "foot-save" acc. to the
CE-norm. This safety feature is active when the point next to the code is on.
Code 63: Single phase mode
The system is provided with a continuous phase detection system. If a fault is detected in one of the phases, then the
controls are switched off. This feature operates quicker and more accurate than a classic thermal relay. In case of single
phase operation the phase detection system should be off. Single phase mode is made active when the point next to the
code is on. In case of three phase power, it is strongly advised to keep this code inactive.
