4.2.2

Electric supply

Each of the hydraulic units must be fitted with a fused power supply (see 1.2). This power supply can come from the
ceiling or the floor (see arrow A, fig. 4.2). When the cable is comming from the floor, the section above the floor should
be 2.2 metres long. The electrician should decide the diameter of the conductors of the three-phase cable for the specific
situation.
4.2.3
Assembly (fig. B, C and E)
- Install the bracket for the hydraulic unit (B.4) with the bolts M10x16 (B.29) and washers M10 (B.30) on the columns.
- Mount the bracket for the potentiometer (B.2) with the bolts M10x16 (B.29) and washers M10 (B.30).
- Attention: Bracket with tube to columns III and IV
- Install the potentiometer (B.11) on the support for the potentiometer (B.2) with screws M4x16(B.33), washers A4
(B.34) and nyloc nuts M4 (B.35). Mount the adjustment rod in the connection point on the guide block; only three
rings should be visible.
- Put the adjustment rods in the hexagon on the guide block, there must be three rings visible.
- Install the housings (C.10) on the columns I, II and IV with screws M6x16 (C.46)
- Install the four stud bolts M6x30 (B.46) for the control box.
- Install the gas spring brackets (E.2) below the anchor nut on the base plate of column I and II.
4.2.4
Cable channel set (fig.I)
With a standard set-up of the bridge (3222mm (ST4175) and 3222mm (ST4250) between the columns, see fig. 4.2), the
intermediate tube (I.3) must be shortened by approx. 20mm. Account has been taken of an incline of 10mm (backwards)
of the columns (see fig. 4.3). If the vehicle lift has to be set wider, then part of the vertical tubes (the part used for
widening) be used and be connected to the horizontal tube by means of the extra clamping sleeve.
Put the tube sections together and pull a pulling cord through the tubes which is used later for pulling the cables.
Then place the tubes on the end plate, fasten using the bolts + nuts and washers (I.6, 19, 20).
4.2.5
Control boxes and cabling (fig. B, C and P)
- Mount the control box with main switch (B.10) to post III
with spacer (B.47), lockwasher M6 (B.48) and Nyloc nut
M6 (B.49).
- Mount the (optional) secondary control box (P.1) to
column I, II or IV with stud bolt M6 (P.4), spacer (P.5),
lockwasher M6 (P.6) and Nyloc nut M6 (P.7) just below
the housing (C.10). Note that the fixing holes M6 must be
drilled, before the stud bolts M6 can be installed.
- Install the electric cables and note that:
The cables are separately assembled for each column.
Lay the cables along the ramps. Then pull the cables
through the aluminium tubes from left to right by
means of the pulling cord..The protection hoses are
provided with mounting nuts on both sides. The
track is provided with a U-shaped connection plate
to make installation easy.
- On the control box side the cables are numbered acc. to
the numbers in the control box. The terminals in the
control box are plug-in type (and can be taken out) to
make installation more easy.
