ANNUALLY (BY SERVICE DEPARTMENT)
The user should have the vehicle lift inspected once a year by the service department of Stertil-KONI or another servicing
agency recognised by Stertil-KONI (both henceforth designated as 'service department'). For this annual inspection a
maintenance contract can be arranged with the Stertil service department. If no maintenance contract is entered into, the
user himself should make an appointment each year for this inspection and servicing. This inspection is recorded on the
inspection checklist, see page 177.It should comprise the following activities:

Daily and Monthly checks.

A check of all safety equipment in conformity to the directions in Section 4, 'Assembly and Starting Operation' under
§4.3.5, 'Checking Safety Equipment'.

A check that the torque on the anchor bolts conforms to the specifications in Section 4, 'Assembly and Starting
Operation'
under §4.2.1, 'Torque of Anchor Bolts'.
-
A check that the adjustment of the lock catch conforms to the specifications in Section 4, 'Assembly and Starting
Operation', fig. 4.3, 'Lock Catch Adjustment'.
-
The lubrication of the pivot points of the ramps and the inclined part of the track with a multi-purpose grease.

ASSEMBLY AND STARTING OPERATION

4.1

GENERAL

The vehicle lift should be assembled by the Stertil-KONI
service department or a servicing agency recognised by
Stertil-KONI.
4.2

ASSEMBLY

4.2.1
Foundation Directions (fig. 4.2)
The vehicle lift must be placed on a level and smooth
reinforced concrete floor.
The foundation and anchoring should meet the following
requirements:
Thickness of concrete floor
Concrete quality
Reinforcement
Finishing layer
If there is no concrete floor of sufficient quality available, the
vehicle lift can be installed on a foundation plate of the
aforementioned quality (see Foundation/Hole Pattern
fig. 4.2).
Concrete volume
For forces on concrete see fig. 4.1
It is the responsibility of the user to ascertain whether the quality of the concrete floor is adequate.
- Position the columns, take the dimensions for width and length from fig. 4.2. Slide the tracks on the square
part of the columns.
- Install all cables and hydraulics (see §4.2.2 - §4.2.8)
