- The cables have column numbers on both sides, to make clear which cable belongs to which column. See for correct
insertion into the control box fig. 4.4.
- MP"xxx" MOT is the motor cable column "xxx" motor sided
MP"xxx" BOX is the motor cable column "xxx" controlbox sided
- A multicore cable with column numbers and electric plugs:
MLV for the lowering valve of the hydraulic unit
MCV for the correction valve of the hydraulic unit
VLM for the unlock solenoid
PTM for the potentiometer
4.2.6
Hydraulic system (fig. B and G)
When fitting hydraulic components ensure that no dirt etc. gets into the hydraulic system.
- Fasten the hydraulic units (B.12) with nuts and washers (B.29, B.30).
- Position the breather cap (G.17) on the tank.
- Connect the hydraulic hoses (B.22) between the hydraulic units (B.12) and the oil pipe of the cylinder (B.21).
- Remove the plugs on top of the cylinders.
- Temporarily connect the control box to the power mains according to the sticker on the inside of the control box.
Caution: connect the transformer to the correct phase (mains) voltage and frequency (this is not a standard
factory setting!!!). Failing to do so, will cause serious damage to the control box.
- The lift can be raised (acc. §2.4 and §4.3.2 a.f.).
- The cable assemblies can now be positioned in the cable trays. Put the nut of the protection hose in the U-shaped
connection plate and tighten the nut.
4.2.7
Lighting Set (optional) (fig. Q)
Mounting the neon tube fittings
- Use countersunk screws (Q.6) to mount the fixing clamps (Q.2) to the tracks.
- Click the neon tube fitting (Q.1) roughly where it should be mounted, in the fixing clamps, with the ballast on which
the sticker with the text 'stertil koni' is placed on the side of posts 3 and 4(do not forget to remove the protective film)
- Remove the end covers of the neon tube fitting, by unscrewing the cable couplings.
The internal parts in which the neon tube fitting is mounted are now loose in the protective cover; slide the internal
parts through, until the part with the text '24V' can be seen (approx. 10 cm). The last part of the internal parts can be
removed, so that the connector can be seen.
- Connect the cable to the connector (first feed the cable through the cable coupling of the end cover). Start with the
neon tube fitting that is mounted closest to posts 1 and 2. This neon tube fitting only needs to be connected on one end
(the side of the sticker with the text 'stertil koni'). At the other end, there will be a plastic bolt bout (Q.5) instead of a
cable coupling.
- Push the internal parts back in the protective cover and fix the cable coupling in the end cover.
- When connecting the next neon tube fitting, do the same as with the first fitting, only now the neon tube fitting must be
connected at both ends.
- Make sure that there is sufficient cable length between the two neon tube fittings to fix them to the edge of the conduit
with the cable clip (Q.11) (see detail in fig. Q). This extra cable length is required for sliding the internal parts of the
neon tube fitting in and out.
Mounting transformers
- Drill and tap holes (deburr the holes on the inside of the post) and mount the transformer(s) (Q.8) according to the
drawing on post 3. Fix the transformer(s) with bolts (Q.10) and washers (Q.9).
- Feed the cable through the tube in the track through the protective hose and through the control box to the
transformer(s) (along the back of the control box).
- To feed from the control box to the transformer(s), replace the existing cable coupling with 1 hole by a cable coupling
with 3 holes (Q.4), (or only replace the internal parts).
- When connecting the two transformers, the internal parts of the cable couplings the top transformer must be exchanged
(on 230V side, there will be a cable coupling with 2 holes). To connect the transformers (see diagram of fig. Q), open
the cover, which is fixed with 4 screws.
- Fix the cables from the transformer(s) to the control box on the post using the self-adhesive clamps supplied (Q.7).
First thoroughly degrease the base.
