Preparation (Modules)

This section provides overviews of the connections and possible settings of the modules
available for the PBX. In addition, this section describes how to make the necessary hard-
ware settings on the modules before inserting them.
Note: The possible connections are described in detail in the section Instal-
lation and Commissioning of the Operation Guide.

COMpact CPU Module Overview

K
A LAN LED for wall mounting (COMpact 5000)
B Status LED for wall mounting (COMpact 5000)
C Power LED for wall mounting (COMpact 5000)
D Power LED for rack mounting (COMpact 5000R)
E Status LED for rack mounting (COMpact 5000R)
F Reset button to restart the PBX
G Software altern. button to restore the firmware installed before a firmware
update
H Software default button to restore the factory settings
I RJ-45 socket (Ethernet port) for connection to a PC or a network
J USB socket for connection of storage media or a single external printer
K Connector for attachment to the mainboard
