11. Troubleshooting
If your ice cream maker does not work as usual, use the following instructions to try and solve the
problem. If working through the following tips does not eliminate the fault, please contact our hotline.
The ice cream maker is not working
•
The plug is not inserted. Insert the plug into a power socket.
•
The power socket is faulty. Try the device in another power socket that definitely works.
Ice cream leaks out of the opening in the lid (3)
•
Too much of the mixture in the freezer bowl (6). Note the maximum quantity of 1,000 ml.
•
Reduce the amount of mixture you use the next time.
The ice cream is too liquidy
•
Always observe the recommended chilling times:
freezer bowl: chill in the freezer for at least 24 hours
ice cream mixture: cool in the fridge for at least 4 hours
•
If necessary, chill the prepared ice cream in the freezer until you are happy with the consistency.
The ice cream maker switches off
•
The motor unit (2) has overheated and the safety system protecting the motor from overheating has
been activated.
