SETUP
6.1. GENERAL
The following points covers the main actions to make the
product ready for operation.
6.2. CHARGE BATTERY/BATTERIES
Make sure you have read and understood the contents of
Chapter 2 "SAFETY", before charging the battery/batteries.
The battery can be charged in a powered off headset, or
separated from the headset. The ACK081 battery is equipped
with an LED that indicates with a green light when the charging is
complete. Red light indicates charging.
Insert the rechargeable battery in the battery compartment.
Push down the latch.
Charging time for ACK081 is approx. 3 h.
Charging time for ACK082 is approx. 12 h.
Low battery warning
When the battery voltage level is low, the headset will warn you
with a voice message. This message is repeated until you charge
the battery or the battery voltage reaches a critical level and the
headset powers off.
6.2.1. CONNECT AN EXTERNAL RADIO
(Figure P)
Connect your external communication radio via the auxiliary
port (P:10) (cable not included).

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Inspect the hearing protector before each use. If damaged,
select an undamaged hearing protector or avoid the noisy
environment.
7.1. HEADBAND
(Figure J:1 - J:3)
J:1 Slide out the cups and tilt the top of the shell out, as the
cable must be on the outside of the headband.
J:2 Adjust the height of the cups by sliding them up or down
while holding the headband in place.
J:3 The headband should be positioned across the top of
the head as shown and should support the weight of the
headset.
7.2. NECKBAND
(Figure J:9 - J:11)
J:9 Place the cups in position over the ears.
J:10 Keep the cups in position, place the head strap on top of
your head and lock it tight in position.
J:11 The head strap should be positioned across the top of
your head and should support the weight of the headset.
