UPPER MANUAL:
"Special Effects» Section
These stops are an exciting and useful part of your new
Farfisa organ. It should be remembered
they are monophonic which means that only one note at
a time will sound.
Monophonic
The «Special Effects» section includes the Trombone,
Trumpet, Baritone Sax, English
Violin. It has been made monophonic
authenticity of the sounds produced. A trombonist
example will never press two or more notes at the same
time...
Remember also that the section is only operative on the
three octaves between the white pips on the Upper
Manual and has a high note preference when used with
other voices on the organ. To try the authenticity
tabs, select one and play an appropriate melody line.
The volume of the section is controlled
located above the tabs. When using these tabs with the
orchestral section it is best to set «Special Effects» at a
higher volume than the other to make it stand out.
