High Performance and Multifunction Design
1. Higher sound quality
¢ Soas toattain higher conversion accuracy the 256-times over-
sampling, 1-bit type D/A converter is used. It is builtin the main
body.
* A64-times, oversampling, 1-bit type A/D converter (option) is
used.
2. Multifunction and high operability peculiar to DAT
The DAT has the subcodes to record the play time and program
number, which enhances the operability.
¢ It has the autostart ID function to write automatically the pro-
gram number after detecting the nonsingal section when rec-
ording CD and satellite broadcast, which enhances the
high-speed program selection.
* It has the start ID after-recording function which is useful for
reediting of record tape and the renumbering function which
rearranges automatically the programs even when program is
recorded not at the front or tail end of tape.
¢ thas the autorewind function which rewinds automatically the
tape when it comes to the end.

* Quick program selection APSS function allowing the program
top to be found easily
