Mikrobenfilter nicht im Exspira-
tionsrwaigeinbauen: Kondensat
kann den Strömungswiderstand er-
höhen und die Ventilation nachteilig
beeinflussen-Gebrauchsanwei-
sung',,Mikrobenfilter" beachten!

The following applies to

Monitoring the expiratory minute
volume - e.g with Minute Vol-
umeter.
Screw Minute Volumeter 3000 to
the airway pressure gauge (or to
the connection piece, in case of
Barolog A is being used) by hand -
Screw expiratory valve to the Mi.
nute Volumeter by hand.
Connect hoses
Attach one corrugated hose - 1 m
- to each nozzle on the inspiratory
and expiratory valves -
Attach the open ends of the hoses
to the nozzles of the Y-piece.
Optional:
Fit microbial filter to inspiratory
valve.
DO notfit microbial filter to the
expiratory limb: condensation tan
increase the flow resistance and
adversely affect Ventilation -follow
the "Microbial Filter, Instructions
for Use".
0 Connect breathing bag -
with 1 m corrugated hose.
