Betriebsbereitschaft prüfen

Gasversorgung prüfen
Alle Anschlüsse der Zentralversor-
gu"g auf festen Sitz und Dicht-
heit -
alle Versorgungsschläuche auf ein-
wandfreien Zustand (Sichtprü-
fung) -
Druck in der Zentrale" Versor-
gungsanlage:
mindestens 2,7 bar
0,.Versorgung prüfen
Steckerdes 0,.Schlauches in
Wandentnahmeventil stecken -
Os-Dosierventil öffnen und prüfen,
ob sich der volle Flowbereich ein-
stellen läßt.
N,O-Versorgung prüfe"
0,.Stecker eingesteckt lassen:
Für die N,O-Dosierung ist
Os-Druck erforderlich -
N,O-Stecker einstecke" -
N,O-Dosierventil öffnen und prü-
fen, ob sich der volle Flowbereich
einstelle" läßt.
0,.Mangelsignal und
N,O-Sperre prüfen
O?-Flow einstelle" auf 1 Llmin
N,O-Flow einstellen auf 2 Llmin
0,.Stecker ziehen - nach kurzer
Zeit muß das 01-Mangelsignal er-
tönen-mindestens 7 Sekunde"
lang -
der N,O-Flow muß auf 0 absin-
ke" -
0~ Dosierventile schließen -
Gasversorgung wieder herstellen.
Gasart prüfen
0 0,.Meßgerät mit Sensor betriebs-
bereit halten für den Prüfvorgang -
0 Schlauch vom Frischgasausgang
des Narkosegerätes abschrau-
ben -
0 Os-Dosierventil öffnen bis zu einem
Flow von 3 Llmin -
0 O,-Sensor unter den Frischgas-
ausgang halten und Gas über den
Sensor strömen lassen:
Am 0,.Meßgerät muß die 0,.Kon-
zentration deutlich in Richtung
100% steige" -
0 N,O-Dosierventil öffne" bis
ca. 3 L/min:
Die 0,.Konzentration muß deutlich
in Richtung 50% O2 fallen -

beide Dosierventile wieder
schließe".

Checking gassupplies

Check all connections to the
Pipeline System for seating and
leaks -
0 Inspect all supply hoses for dam-
age -
0 Pressure of all piped medical
gases at least 2.7 bar.
Checking O2 supply
0 Insert probe on O2 hose into termi-
nal unit -
l
Olx?n 0, flow control valve and
ch'eck if ;he flow ca" be adjusted
through thefull range.

Checking Ns0 supply
Keep O2 probe connected:
0, pressure is required to allow
flow of N,O -
Insert N,O probe -
Open N,O flow valve and check if
the flow ca" be adjusted through
the full range.
Checking O2 shortage warning
and N,O Cut-out
Adjust 0, flow to 1 Llmin
Adjust N,O flow to 2 L/min
Disconnect O1 probe - the O2
shortage warning must Sound after
a short time - and last for at least
7 seconds -
The Ns0 flow must decrease to
zero -
Glose flow control valves -
Re-connect 02 supply.
Checking gas identity
Keep O2 monitor with sensor oper-
ational during testing -

Unscrew hose from fresh gasout-
let on the anaesthetic machine-
l
Open 0, flow control valve to flow
= 3 Llmin.
l
Hold the 02 sensor under the fresh
gas outlet and allow gas to flow
wer it:
On the 0, meter the O2 concentra-
tion must be seen to rise towards
100% -
l
Open N,O flow control valve to
about 3 Llmin,:
The O2 concentration must be seen
to drop towards 50% O2 -
l
Glose both flow control valves
again.
