5. Commissioning and operation
Setting the sensitivity
The rotary switch on the right-hand side allows the sensitivity of the vibrating level switch
to be set. The sensitivity is preset to level 3 at the factory. If the medium to be measured
has a higher density than water, the vibrating level switch is triggered earlier (below the
switch point marking). By setting the sensitivity level to a value higher than level 3, this

effect can be counteracted. If the medium to be measured has a lower density than
water, the vibrating level switch is triggered later (above the switch point marking). By
setting the sensitivity level to a value lower than level 3, this effect can be counteracted.

Max/Min switch button
The Max-Min switch button is located on the right-hand side. Press this button to switch
between the maximum level and the minimum level.
5.7 Status LED
The following tuning fork types have a status LED to indicate the switching and error
states.
