5.2 Switch point
The switch point of the tuning fork is marked by a horizontal notch when installed
vertically. The switch point mark should be at the desired height of the switch point
during installation. This switch point is set at the factory using "water" as a test medium.
If the density of the medium deviates from that of the test medium of water, the switch
point of the instrument shifts and can be adjusted via the sensitivity. The sensitivity can
only be set for the model TLS-S. The models TLS-C and TLS-H tuning forks do not offer
the option of adjusting the sensitivity.
The tuning fork body is available in two different lengths: 38 mm [1.50 in] or 42 mm
[1.65 in].
