20.2.10.2 Information on installed parts for MAX BE 750 Li-Ion and MAX BE 1200 Li-Ion
Charger with power inverter
The charger installed in this mobile workstation can be connected to any shockproof socket with a mains
voltage of 187 – 265 V AC and 50 Hz. Once the operating temperature has been reached, the charging
process will start immediately after connection to the mains.
NOTE
Once the charger has been inserted, this power inverter switches over to the socket strip in
practically without interruption (less than 20 milliseconds). This means that it is also possible to
continue working during the charging process and that the lithium-ion batteries are charged
irrespective of the connected load.
We recommend fusing the socket with a 16A automatic circuit breaker with a C characteristic.
NOTE
Do not plug the charger connecting cable into the mobile workstation socket strip because this
will not charge the batteries.
NOTE
Connection to the mains must comply with the national provisions for electrical connections. If the
charger cable is defective, please contact the manufacturer.
A deep discharge protection feature is integrated in the mobile workstation which prevents this
deep discharging under normal operating conditions. The batteries should be recharged soon
after switching off by the deep discharge protection function to prevent further deep discharging
through self-discharging.
The Mobile Workstation with Li-ion batteries should be charged at least every four weeks.
If the mobile workstation is not used for more than four weeks, fully charge it and disconnect the
battery plug. To recommission the unit, follow the steps described in Chapter 16 Initial set-up.
For better accessibility, you can attach the mains cable for the internal charger to the top post on the right.
Alternatively, store it behind the rear panel.
