Caution!
Risk of tipping due to incorrect center of
gravity / shift in center of gravity
If the product's center of gravity is shifted
significantly, for example on slopes and inclines
or if the user leans out of the product too far, the
product may tip or roll over�
Test the effects of shifts in the center of gravity

on the behavior of the product, for example, on
declines, inclines, and lateral slopes or while
negotiating obstacles only with the reliable sup-
port of an assistant�
Always stand the product on horizontal, flat

surfaces only� If it is unavoidable to park it on an
incline, put the seat in an upright position� There
is a risk of the product tipping backwards on
inclines in the lying position�
When grasping objects ( lying in front of, to the

side or behind the device) make sure that the
user does not lean out of the seat too far�
Do not hang heavy shopping bags or similar on

the push bar or the levers�

Risks in public road traffic
Dangerous situations can occur when
driving on public roads�
Please note that you must observe traffic regu-

lations when traveling on public streets�
In dark conditions wear bright clothing wherever

possible in order to be more visible� We also rec-
ommend installing an active light source�

Always be aware of your fingers during opera-

tion and all adjustment and assembly work�

product and connections
If you do not carry out adjustments to the product
properly, the stability and safety of the product
may be affected�
Ensure that the screws are tightened again after

all adjustment and assembly work�
Always make sure that the seating system is

securely connected to the undercarriage�
If you have a question regarding the connection

of the seating system and the undercarriage,
always contact your specialist dealer or interco
directly�
Carry out a regular visual inspection of all con-

nections of the product� Consult your local spe-
cialist dealer in case of doubt�

General risks due to careless handling
of the product
The product is only approved for its intended use�
Improper or careless use can result in safety and
injury risks for the user and other persons�
Avoid actions, such as driving against an obsta-

cle (stair, curb) without using the brake or down
from elevated surfaces�
Use caution when handling fire (e�g� a burning

cigarette)! Upholstery and coverings could catch
fire�
Make sure to keep children from playing with

the therapy chair or any parts thereof� There
is a risk of injury due to trapping and crushing
hands and fingers�
Children must not play next to, underneath or

in front of the seating system when the seating
system is in motion and/or the seat or back unit
is in use�
